Frozen in time, Pompeii is a window to the ancient Roman way of life. At the base of the volcano, Mount Vesuvius, lies the UNESCO World Heritage Site, city of Pompeii. Completely covered by volcanic ash, after the explosion of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii remained buried for over 1650 years when in 1748, excavations began to uncover this city lost in time.

In a 3 hour tour of Pompeii you will stroll with an expert guide and discover the secrets that have made this city one of the most popular attractions in Italy. Your small group of only 8 people will then be shuttled in your personal luxury van to Sorrento, the world renowned city overlooking the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. After a leisurely stroll in the city for picture taking and just to absorb the atmosphere, we will enjoy lunch in what we think is the best seafood tavern in Sorrento along the shore. We will, then, proceed to the also famed Amalfi Coast were you will witness breathtaking views of the most dramatic geological formation of cliffs meeting the coast line. We will drive along this 30 km coast line through picturesque towns grappled on the slopes of the cliffs like mussels on coral. Cities like Positano, Praiano, Furore, Amalfi, Ravello, Minori, Maiori, Cetora and Vietri sul Mare, where we will begin our 3 hours journey back to Rome.
