Its arena was one of the most blood-soaked places on earth. Then, from there, we will climb up to the Palatine hill, the Roman version of Beverly Hills, where Romulus founded Rome in 753 BC, and where most emperors chose to live, ruled the world and became immortal. Finally, we will walk down into the heart of ancient Rome’s political, religious and commercial centre: the Roman Forum.
